Let me tell you a bit about how I ended up doing what I love most — teaching German to people all over the world.

Ever since I was young, I’ve been that friend who couldn’t resist correcting everyone’s grammar or fixing their writing. It might have been a little annoying, but I was always fascinated by languages and how we use them.

Fast forward a bit, after finishing my Abitur, I packed my bags and spent three months abroad for the first time in my life. I knew from that moment that I would not stop travelling the world anytime soon.

After my studies in International Hotel Management, I embarked on a series of adventures between my hotel and cruise ship jobs. I did tons of Workaways, with unique experiences around the globe. I’ve lived in the forest without electricity or water, worked on farms, lived in a teepee, and spent time working in a school in South Africa. These experiences taught me so much about different cultures and people and showed me how important it is to speak another language, to be able to connect to other people. However, after a few years of starting over in new places and jobs, I realized something was missing. That’s when I decided to start teaching and instantly fell in love with the digital life.
